I started this series and had gotten through the first three books in less than a week, I could not put them down, however the third book is by far my favorite. For those of you that found yourself having trouble disliking the bad guy in the earlier books (which I gave up on long ago and gave in to him being my favorite), that trouble is only going to increase through this book. Through the character development it is easy to relate to Riley and the difficult decisions she faces throughout the series, as you yourself are pulled back and fourth with her along the way.Product details

I've been following the series of Ember since it came out and fell in love with it right away. But Blaze is probably my favorite. the twists and turns are amazing. And the way the story is handled is outstanding. Love this book and HIGHLY recommend it )
Blaze is my favorite book in the series by a long shot. The books keep getting better and better as the series progesses. In this book, Riley learns the other side of the story. In this "story" she learns things about her past. It is very interesting to learn where she comes from and the history behind the amulets. I love feeling like I'm learning with Riley as she learns new and exciting things about magic and what her ability will enable her to do.
Blaze is also a mix of good of evil. It definitely makes you wonder which side is the "good" side fighting for the greater good of the magical kingdoms. The ending of Blaze has left me hanging and I absolutely cannot wait for the final installment in the series!
With Blaze, E. E. Martin has become one of the top three authors that I will proudly recommend to others and place on my shelves. The development of Jaden's character really made me rethink how I felt about him, and with the transformation of Riley it's hard to truly give up on Jaden. The change of atmosphere of the novel was the best way to show the different sides of the conflict and made it enjoyable to read. I love reading this series and cannot wait to read the next one.
E.E. Martin has done it again. She sets the senses on fire with her great imagination, and leaves one begging for more. There is no way to describe this wonderful book, which has even surpassed the first two of the series. You must read it for yourself. Such a pleasure should not be missed. Keep 'em coming!!!
